Product Information

Dimensions and descriptions of goods given by us to you for any purpose are stated in good faith but are approximate only and will not bind Speronella Marsh in any way. We reserve the right to withdraw, or amend, the specification of any goods without further notice to you.

Please note we do not guarantee colour match between the same products ordered by you in separate orders. Please also note that the colour palette within the range of wallpaper that we offer is not the same as the colour palette within our range of bespoke hand printed fabric. This fact is recognised through the use of different names for the colours used in our wallpaper versus our bespoke hand block printed fabrics.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the Speronella Marsh Website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, tablet or mobile device, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s, tablet's or mobile device's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. For this reason, we encourage all customers to order relevant samples of our products before placing a full order.

All sizes and measurements are approximate. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Speronella Marsh Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.

All information and advice either published on the Speronella Marsh Website, sent to you by email or shared with you over the phone has been supplied in good faith and can only be interpreted as general guidance.

Our fabrics come in two ranges: those that are printed by hand on vintage fabric and those that are digitally printed. Both types of fabric have natural and manufacturing variations and characteristics such as slubs and knots. Very occasionally these variations and characteristics prevent print dye from covering the full surface of the fabric. We believe this gives our fabrics a distinctive and unique character. You will accept that these product characteristics cannot be classified as faulty.

Our fabric is cold wash only.

All of our products are designed for interior use only. It is your responsibility to ensure that the product is fit for purpose for the end use you envisage.

Sale of Samples

Speronella Marsh Samples (hereafter Samples) are cuttings of Speronella Marsh fabrics and wallpapers. Samples can be ordered online by clicking on the colour and design.  The cost is inclusive of delivery and VAT at the current rate. Variations in colour of the Samples can occur because of the manufacturing process or the difference in colour resolution with your computer. We cannot therefore guarantee that the fabric or wallpaper subsequently supplied will match exactly with the Samples.

We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that all descriptions and graphical representations of Samples available from us correspond to the actual Speronella Marsh fabrics and wallpapers (hereafter Goods). Please note, however, the following: Images of Goods are for illustrative purposes only. There may be slight variations in colour between the image of a product and the actual product sold due to differences in computer displays and lighting conditions;  this does not exclude our responsibility for mistakes due to negligence on our part and refers only to minor variations of the correct Samples, not to different Samples altogether.

We cannot guarantee that Samples will always be available. Stock indications are not provided on the Speronella Marsh website.

We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that all prices shown on the Speronella Marsh website are correct at the time of going online. We reserve the right to change prices and to add, alter, or remove special offers from time to time and as necessary.

All prices are checked by us before we accept your order. In the unlikely event that We have shown incorrect pricing information, we will contact you in writing to inform you of the mistake. If the correct price is lower than that shown when you made your order, we will simply charge you the lower amount and continue processing your order. If the correct price is higher, we will give you the option to purchase the samples at the correct price or to cancel your order (or the affected part of it). We will not proceed with processing your order in this case until you respond. If we do not receive a response from you within five days, we will treat your order as cancelled and notify you of this in writing.

All prices on the Speronella Marsh website include VAT. If the VAT rate changes between your order being placed and us taking payment, the amount of VAT payable will be automatically adjusted when taking payment.

Delivery charges are included in the price of Samples displayed on the Speronella Marsh website.

Prices

Prices include VAT, but exclude delivery charges and import duties. Customers will pay postal/shipping costs at check-out. Customers outside the United Kingdom are liable for additional import duties.

All prices are correct at time of publishing, but may change due to administrative errors or circumstances beyond our control. Speronella Marsh is not liable for import duties for international shipments outside the United Kingdom.

Placing an Order

Speronella Marsh may modify the terms and conditions on the Speronella Marsh Website without notifying you. You agree to periodically review these terms and conditions to be aware of any such revisions. Should the revision be unacceptable to you, you agree to stop accessing the Speronella Marsh Website. Your continued use of the Speronella Marsh Website after any such revision(s) shall be deemed as acceptance of and agreement to abide by all such revisions. Prices are subject to change without notice. These changes will not affect orders that have already been dispatched.

Wallpaper and fabrics sold on the Speronella Marsh Website are made-to-order and are non-stocked items. This means that every order will only be produced on payment in full of the value of the order. 

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are satisfied that all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements including, without limitation, measurements, dimensions, product features and delivery. Speronella Marsh is not responsible for any implications resulting from incorrect details and aspects of your order.

When you place an order on the Speronella Marsh Website, we shall email you an order confirmation. Once you have made payment for your order and you have received your order confirmation you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before making your payment.

We recommend that when ordering wallpapers or fabrics that advice is sought from a trained professional. Speronella Marsh can only advise suitable meterage of products in good faith, but does not take responsibility for over or under ordering of products. Any additional orders as a result of under ordering will be treated as a separate order and cannot be added on to previous orders.

We reserve the right to refuse an order. If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. We will take all necessary measures to keep the details of your order and payment secure.

To be eligible to purchase products on this website you must be over 18 years of age, register by providing your real name, phone number, email address, payment details and other requested information and also provide a valid delivery address and a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. Please note that PO box numbers, hotels and temporary addresses are not permitted.

Discount Codes

You may occasionally receive discount codes from us, via email or through promotional materials. Each code is unique to the recipient, is not transferable, has no monetary value and under no circumstances can it be converted into currency. Each code has an expiry date, which will be stated at the time of promotion or on accompanying promotional materials which cannot be modified. Codes can only be redeemed online.

When an order is placed using a promotional code and contains a number of items, the value of the discount is spread over each item according to the pro-rated value of that item. Any refund of an item purchased in such an order will be reduced by the value of discount attached to it. The ‘discount’ will not be refunded.

Under no circumstances can the value of a discount code be deducted from an order if that code is defective or out of date: no replacement codes will be issued.

Only one discount voucher can be used per order. If any other rules apply to a specific promotion, these will be clearly stated at the time of promotion or on accompanying promotional materials.

Shipping and Delivery

Ordered products will be shipped by Speronella Marsh’s suppliers within 48 hours after production save for weekends and public holidays. Lead times for production will be indicated either on the Speronella Marsh website or directly in e-mail correspondence with you prior to your placing an order with Speronella Marsh.  You will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number when the order has been dispatched.

For orders outside of the United Kingdom local customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside. Speronella Marsh is not responsible for payment of this duty. The shipping company will contact you once your items are in customs to let you know the cost. Be aware that this may delay your delivery time as goods are held at customs. It will be your responsibility to pay the necessary charges for local authorities to release the goods.

We shall not be liable for delays and/or failures in delivery if we cannot gain access to the delivery address provided by you.

Delivery dates are not guaranteed.

Risk of Loss or Damage

Speronella Marsh carries the risk of loss or damage to the ordered products until you receive them. The products belong to you when you have received them and have paid us in full. If you return the products to us for any reason, they will become our property and be at our risk from the time we receive them.

Please note that you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession and we hold the right to deny returns if the merchandise returned does not meet our policy requirements.

Return Policy

All Speronella Marsh products are made-to-order only. We do not accept returns unless the product is a) damaged in transit before you receive them or b) if the product is faulty.

Samples are sold on a non-returnable basis, unless indicated otherwise on the Speronella Marsh website.

All goods are dispatched suitably packaged for transit purposes only. You should inspect the goods upon delivery and check that no items are damaged. If goods are damaged you should sign for as such upon delivery and contact speronella@speronellamarsh.com within 24 hours of delivery including photographic evidence of the damage. We do not take responsibility for goods that have been damaged after delivery as a result of poor handling or storage.

You must check the product for faults before installation. Should you believe that your item is faulty you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery at speronella@speronellamarsh.com including photographic evidence.

For orders within the EU, please organise return shipment using your preferred local courier. Please note you will be fully responsible for payment of all return shipping costs. For international orders (outside of the EU), please email us at speronella@speronellamarsh.com and we will create a return shipping label and deduct the cost from the amount to be refunded. If you organise your own return shipment, you will be responsible for any taxes and duties incurred. 

Items should be returned to: Speronella Marsh, Monkhopton House, Monkhopton, Shropshire, WV16 6NB within 20 working days of receipt. If the item(s) returned meet(s) our return terms, any sum debited from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as the item(s) are received and processed, excluding the initial shipping cost. Please note, we will not cover decorator costs or any other additional costs that arise in connection with your order from Speronella Marsh as this is solely your responsibility. 

Data Protection and Privacy

Speronella Marsh will respect the privacy of your personal data, and will comply with all relevant and current data protection legislation. We will not disclose your personal data to anyone, unless required to do so by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Amendments to Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will take effect when posted on the Speronella Marsh Website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use the Speronella Marsh Website. The continued use of the Speronella Marsh Website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
